Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop over
portions of northeast, central, and southern Utah into the early
evening. The strongest storms at 4:30 pm were located over southern
Duchesne county, near the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, and near the north
end of Lake Powell northwest of Ticabo. Some of these storms may
produce locally heavy rain, strong gusty winds, small hail and
dangerous lightning.
