...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM PST
FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 6 PM this evening to 6 AM PST
Friday.

* TIMING...Downslope winds will increase tonight, peak early
  Friday morning, and decrease around sunrise.

* WINDS...Sustained southwest winds 35 to 45 MPH, with gusts up to
  65 mph.

* IMPACTS...These high winds will make driving on roadways above
  5000 feet very difficult. Any drivers of high profile vehicles,
  including vans, should be alert to the danger of strong winds.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means strong winds gusting over 40 mph can make
driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.
