West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Post-Tropical Cyclone Jose was
centered near 39N 68W this evening, and will drift W while
dissipating tonight into Mon. Hurricane Maria will approach from
the S tonight, and is expected to be located near 31.9N 73.3W at
8 PM EDT Mon night, 33.0N 73.5W at 8 AM Tue, 33.9N 73.5W at 8 PM
Tue night, 35.2N 72.8W at 8 PM Wed night, 36.5N 69.5W at 8 PM Thu
night, and move to near 38.0N 62.0W at 8 PM Fri night. Also, S to
SE swell from Hurricane Maria will impact the area tonight and
into Fri night. Please refer to the latest National Hurricane
Center advisory for Hurricane Maria. Otherwise, a cold front will
move over the NW portion late Thu into Thu night, reach the
central waters early Fri, and pass of the SE waters Fri night.
High pres will build into the NW portion Fri and Fri night.
