The National Weather Service office in Huntsville AL will conduct storm surveys Today for the areas near Huntsville in Madison County, Brigadoon Area in Limestone County, and the Henagar Area in Jackson and DeKalb Co. The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on 05/08/2024. A final assessment including results of the survey will likely take a few days to compile before made official. Additional surveys will be also likley be needed in the upcoming days.
