...MEDFORD OREGON WEATHER REVIEW: JANUARY 2016...

NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED FROM DECEMBER 2015 TO JANUARY 2016.  THE WET
PATTERN CONTINUES WITH ABOVE AVERAGE PRECIPITATION FOR THE MONTH IN
MEDFORD AND MOST CLIMATE LOCATIONS.  EVEN WITH ABOVE AVERAGE
PRECIPITATION, WE DIDN`T SEE ANY MEASURABLE SNOW AT THE MEDFORD
AIRPORT FOR JANUARY.  ALSO OF NOTE THE MEDFORD PRECIPITATION GAUGE
MEASURED A TRACE OR MORE ON 21 OF THE 31 DAYS INDICATING A PRETTY
ACTIVE PATTERN.  IN THE STRONG EL NINO WARMER TEMPERATURES CONTINUED
FOR THE MEDFORD AIRPORT.

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR JANUARY WAS 43.0 DEGREES, WHICH IS 2.7
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE AVERAGE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE WAS 51.3
DEGREES, WHICH IS 3.0 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE AVERAGE MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE WAS 34.7 DEGREES, WHICH IS 4.0 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.

THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 66 DEGREES ON THE 21ST.
THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE OF THE MONTH WAS 19 ON THE 2ND.
THERE WERE NO TEMPERATURE OR PRECIPITATION RECORDS SET AT MEDFORD
THERE WERE 5 CLEAR DAYS, 16 PARTLY CLOUDY DAYS, AND 10 CLOUDY DAYS.

TOTAL PRECIPITATION FOR THE MONTH WAS 4.22 INCHES, WHICH IS 1.79
INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THE GREATEST 24 HOUR TOTAL WAS 1.14 INCHES THAT
