.DISCUSSION...
A MAINLY DRY COLD FRONT WILL SINK ACROSS THE AREA TODAY...BUT NOT
UNTIL TEMPERATURES AGAIN TOP OUT IN THE 80S TO LOW 90S. BE AWARE
THAT A WIND SHIFT TO STRONGER NORTHERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP AFTER
THE PASSAGE OF THE COLD FRONT THIS AFTERNOON AS RELATIVE HUMIDITY
WILL FALL TO 25 TO 30 PERCENT. ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE NEAR AND ALONG THE COLD FRONT
FROM MID AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT. ALONG WITH MORE SEASONABLE
TEMPERATURES THIS WEEKEND...SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE
SOUTHWESTERN HALF OF SOUTH DAKOTA SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY.
THE DRIEST CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN OVER NORTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA
AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...WITH RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES AGAIN
FALLING INTO THE 20 PERCENT RANGE.
