Scattered showers and thunderstorms moved across the lower Maryland
eastern shore yesterday afternoon...producing rainfall amounts of one
quarter inch or less. Otherwise...no precipitation occurred over the
area during the past 24 hours. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are
possible this afternoon and evening...mainly along and west of I-95.
Rainfall amounts are generally expected to be one quarter inch or less
and will have no impact on river levels. Only minor changes in river
levels are expected in the James...Appomattox and Chowan basins.
