DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1133 AM EDT FRI JUL 29 2016

...River forecast points were well below flood stage this morning...

A hot and dry pattern will persist through today across Central
South Carolina and East-Central Georgia...under the influence of
an upper-level ridge of high pressure. Any thunderstorms that
develop will be widely scattered. By Saturday...some weakening
of the ridge will occur...allowing a gradual increase in atmospheric
moisture...with a somewhat better chance for thunderstorms through
Sunday.

Overall...minor stage fluctuations will continue on area rivers
through Sunday...due to hydro power generation and corresponding
releases from upstream reservoirs.
