DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1020 AM EDT MON SEP 26 2016

...River forecast points were well below flood stage this morning...

A weak frontal boundary has stalled across the Pee Dee region
this morning. With limited moisture in place...only widely
scattered or isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected
ahead of the front.

Increasing Atlantic moisture will support a better chance for showers
and possible thunderstorms tonight and Tuesday...especially during the
afternoon and evening hours. Average rainfall amounts of between
one-quarter and one-half inch seem reasonable with this developing
pattern...with somewhat higher amounts possible over the upstate.

Overall...rainfall is not expected to result in any flooding
problems on area rivers. Minor stage fluctuations or rises are
forecast through Wednesday.
