DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1021 AM EST THU JAN 19 2017

...All River Forecast Points are Below Flood Stage...

Rainfall across much of the region will occur associated with a series
of low pressure systems lasting well into the weekend. 72-hour rainfall
beginning Friday will be heaviest and may exceed 2 inches in the Upstate,
Savannah, Broad, Saluda and Edisto Basins while the northeast portion of
the forecast area will receive less. River levels may rise depending on
rainfall location and amounts. At this time, all river forecast points
are expected to remain below flood stage with adequate reservoir capacity.
However, isolated urban and small stream flooding may occur over the
weekend in some areas.
