...High water on the Porcupine River...

Warm temperatures last week have swollen the Porcupine River with
snowmelt runoff. Water levels on the Porcupine River at Fort Yukon
are near bankfull. The Porcupine River has filled sloughs and low
lying areas in the Fort Yukon area but water remains within bank.
Water levels at Fort Yukon are expected to gradually fall today
and continue to recede through the remainder of the week.
