statement for the following river...

.This hydrologic statement is based on the most recent heavy rainfall
events and up to an addtional 0.25 in the next 24 hours.

Safety message:  Never drive any vehicle through flooded areas.
The water may be too deep to allow for safe passage.

  Missouri River at Jefferson City.
* At 8 PM Tuesday the stage was 22.6 feet.
* No flooding is currently forecast.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Forecast:  The river is cresting now and is expected to drop some on Wednesday but could begin rising again on Thursday.
* At 23.0 feet... Flood Stage.  Minor flooding begins.
