Skies were partly cloudy overnight. Toward morning, some showers
developed over the western sections and around the Bluegrass region.
Amounts were generally light but some isolated spots collected up to
a half inch. Low temperatures were ran from the upper 60s in the
clearer south to the mid 70s in the north.

This afternoon was mostly cloudy and muggy with more scattered
showers. Afternoon highs were mainly in the mid to upper 80s. Dew
points in the low to mid 70s drove heat index values into the 90s
with even some low 100s reported.

Tonight will see the showers diminish with some patchy fog
developing around sunrise. Lows will be in the low to mid 70s
again.

Tuesday will be a repeat of this afternoon with more showers and
muggy conditions continuing. It will be a little warmer with highs
running from the upper 80s in the northeast to the low 90s in the
southwest. Heat index values will reach into the 100s in the south
and west for a few hours.

Look for another hot and muggy day on Wednesday with more showers.
The pattern breaks down at the end of the workweek with cooler
highs and less humid air.
