HIGH PRESSURE WAS OVERHEAD ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON...RESULTING IN
MOSTLY SUNNY AND TRANQUIL CONDITIONS. TEMPERATURES REACHED THE
MID 60S...WITH A FEW LOCATIONS INTO THE UPPER 60S. A LAKE BREEZE
KEPT PORTIONS OF THE ILLINOIS SHORE IN THE LOWER 60S. TUESDAY
NIGHT WILL BE ANOTHER CLEAR AND CHILLY NIGHT...AS LOWS WILL DIP
INTO THE LOWER TO MID 40S OUTSIDE OF CHICAGO BY EARLY WEDNESDAY
AND UPPER 40S TO AROUND 50 IN AND NEAR THE CITY.

QUIET AND DRY WEATHER WILL PREVAIL THROUGH FRIDAY DUE TO HIGH
PRESSURE ONLY SLOWLY SLIDING EASTWARD AWAY FROM THE REGION. HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 60S ON WEDNESDAY AND WARM
BACK TO THE LOWER TO MID 70S AREA WIDE BY FRIDAY. SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ARE EXPECTED TO RETURN SATURDAY AND SATURDAY
NIGHT AS A FRONTAL SYSTEM APPROACHES...ALONG WITH ABOVE NORMAL
HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S.
