WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHICAGO/ROMEOVILLE IL
1220 PM CST FRI MAR 6 2015

SKIES THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS WERE MOSTLY SUNNY ACROSS THE
NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA REGION. LATE MORNING
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER TEENS TO MID 20S.

GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS ON THE BACKSIDE OF HIGH PRESSURE TO OUR EAST
WILL KEEP THE CHILL IN THE AIR THIS AFTERNOON AS TEMPERATURES CLIMB
INTO THE UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S. STEADY SOUTHWEST WINDS AHEAD OF A
WEAK COLD FRONT WILL KEEP LOWS IN THE 20S TONIGHT. THESE WINDS WILL
ALSO HELP BOOST TEMPERATURES ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY INTO THE UPPER
30S TO LOW 40S WHICH SHOULD HELP THE REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF SNOW ON
THE GROUND. THE ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE INTO NEXT
WEEK. IN THE MEANTIME...MAINLY DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH
THE PERIOD WITH THE EXCEPTION THAT A WEAK DISTURBANCE MAY GIVE THE
AREA A VERY SLIGHT CHANCE OF SOME LIGHT SNOW OR LIGHT RAIN SUNDAY
AFTERNOON.
