SKIES ACROSS THE REGION WERE MOSTLY SUNNY THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS.
WITH LIGHT...VARIABLE WINDS...TEMPERATURES BY LATE MORNING HAD
CLIMBED INTO THE LOW TO MID 60S..BUT ONLY INTO THE UPPER 50S ALONG
THE IMMEDIATE ILLINOIS SHORES ALONG LAKE MICHIGAN.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO DRIFT TO OUR EAST TODAY. THIS WILL
RESULT IN TEMPERATURES INTO THE 70S INLAND AND IN THE 60S ALONG THE
LAKESHORE ON THIS AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE ON AN UPWARD
TREND THROUGH THURSDAY WHEN TEMPERATURES WILL REACH THE UPPER 70S TO
LOWER 80S. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL APPROACH FROM THE WEST
THURSDAY...BRINGING THE NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND
NIGHT. THIS LOW WILL THEN BE FOLLOWED BY A COLD FRONT CONTINUING THE
CHANCES OF RAIN INTO FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT.
