Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

A ridge of high pressure will extend across the northeast and Mid
Atlantic states this week. Meanwhile, Hurricane Jose will be
located a few hundred miles offshore, moving north up the coast.
While major impacts are not expected locally, there will be the
chance for some rain and gusty winds along the shoreline of the
Chesapeake Bay today. Otherwise, expect warm and slightly muggy
conditions through at least Thursday.
