...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN ERIE...
SOUTHEASTERN NIAGARA AND NORTHERN GENESEE COUNTIES...

At 725 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered near Akron,
moving east at 45 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Batavia, Pembroke, Akron, Byron, Oakfield, Stafford, Alabama, Elba,
East Pembroke and Wolcottsville.

This includes Interstate 90 between exits 48A and 48.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. These storms will move over the same area that
picked up multiple downpours just a couple hours ago...so there will
be an elevated risk for flash flooding.

Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
