...WINTER WEATHER IMPACTING DRIVING CONDITIONS...

AT 645 AM LIGHT SNOW WAS FALLING ACROSS PORTIONS OF SIERRA
COUNTY. DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR SHOWS BANDS MOVING NORTHEAST AROUND
25 TO 30 MPH. RADAR SHOWS LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS FROM THE SOCORRO
COUNTY LINE SOUTHWARD ALONG I 25 TO NEAR ARREY AND ANOTHER BAND IN
THE NORTHWEST CORNER AROUND WINSTON. OBSERVATIONS AROUND TRUTH OR
CONSEQUENCES SHOW LIGHT SNOW...VISIBILITIES FROM 1-3 MILES IN
PATCHY FOG. SPOTTERS REPORT FROM 1/2 TO 1 INCH ON THE GROUND IN
SOME LOCATIONS. ACCIDENTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED ON I-10 SOUTHBOUND AT
MONTICELLO CANYON. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE EXTREME CAUTION ON
ICY AND SLIPPERY SNOW PACKED ROADS. ALSO BE ALERT FOR PATCHY FOG
AREAS WHERE VISIBILITIES MAY DROP TO LESS THAN 1 MILE. STRONG
EASTERLY WINDS THROUGH CANYONS WILL ALSO IMPACT DRIVING CONT IONS.
