The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a

* Significant Weather Advisory for...
  Eastern Labette County in southeastern Kansas...
  Neosho County in southeastern Kansas...
  Allen County in southeastern Kansas...

* Until 245 AM CDT

* At 216 AM CDT...National Weather Service meteorologists were
  tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near
  Galesburg to 5 miles north of Oswego to Chetopa...and moving north
  at 65 mph.

Pea size hail...and wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.

* Locations impacted include...
  Parsons, Iola, Oswego, Erie, Chetopa, St. Paul, La Harpe, Gas,
  Moran, Walnut, Savonburg, Labette, Elsmore, Stark, Mildred,
  Bassett, South Mound and Iola Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be prepared to take shelter in the event the storms intensify and
become severe...or a warning is issues by the National Weather
Service.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
