...A HEAVY BAND OF SNOW WILL AFFECT GARFIELD...HOLT...EASTERN BOYD
AND NORTHWESTERN WHEELER COUNTIES...

At 439 PM CST, a northeast to southwest band of heavy snow was
located along a line extending from Lynch to O`Neill to Chambers to
Burwell. Movement was Northeast at 50 mph. Snowfall rates of over
one inch per hour are likely within the band. Total snowfall
accumulations could locally be up to 6 inches within the band.
Visibility of 1/4 mile or less is expected within the band. Snow
should end around 6pm CDT.

Locations impacted include...
Burwell, O`Neill, Ewing, Chambers, Lynch, Page, Gross, Amelia, Inman,
Bristow, Emmet, Monowi, Sunfish Lake, Four Corners, Opportunity,
Goose Lake State Wildlife Management Area, Midway, Gables and
Knievels Corner.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 20 between mile markers 297 and 328.
 Highway 281 between mile markers 143 and 213.
 Highway 12 between mile markers 118 and 135.

Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this band.

Icy roads are possible as the snow melts on the roads then refreezes.
