...WINDY EARLY THIS MORNING IN IMPERIAL AND EL CENTRO...

STRONG GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS DEVELOPED EARLY THIS MORNING ACROSS THE
SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST PARTS OF IMPERIAL COUNTY...ASSOCIATED IN
PART WITH THE PASSAGE OF A STRONG COLD FRONT. WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS
OF 50 MPH WERE SEEN AT EL CENTRO AT 430 AM...AND GUSTS TO AROUND 40
MPH WERE NOTED AT IMPERIAL. THE GUSTY WINDS WILL LIKELY PERSIST PAST
SUNRISE BEFORE TAPERING OFF. BREEZY TO LOCALLY WINDY CONDITIONS WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS HOWEVER.

PATCHY BLOWING DUST AND SAND IS POSSIBLE WITH THE GUSTY WINDS...AND
VISIBILITIES MAY DROP TO 3 MILES OR LESS FOR BRIEF INTERVALS. NO
PRECIPITATION HAS OCCURRED WITH THE PASSAGE OF THE COLD FRONT.
