THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RENO HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  SOUTH CENTRAL LYON COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL NEVADA...

* UNTIL 245 PM PDT

* AT 158 PM PDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
  CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
  OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 14 MILES NORTH OF BRIDGEPORT
  RESERVOIR...OR 18 MILES NORTH OF BRIDGEPORT...AND MOVING NORTH AT
  15 MPH.

* HEAVY RAIN ASSOCIATED WITH THIS STORM MAY CAUSE MINOR ROCK OR MUD
  SLIDES TO OCCUR ALONG AND NEAR ROUTE 338.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  SWEETWATER SUMMIT...PINE GROVE...JUNCTION NV 338 AND NV 829
  (WELLINGTON CUTOFF) AND SMITH VALLEY.
