WEATHER SYNOPSIS

A WARM FRONT WILL LIFT NORTH ACROSS OUR REGION TODAY, ACCOMPANIED
BY A WIND SHIFT INTO THE SOUTH. THESE SOUTH WINDS WILL BRING
ABUNDANT MOISTURE INTO OUR REGION AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT. SHOWERS
WILL BECOME NUMEROUS AHEAD OF THE FRONT THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

THE COLD FRONT WILL MOVE EAST ACROSS THE LOWER OHIO VALLEY ON
TUESDAY, BRINGING AN END TO THE WIDESPREAD RAIN.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE
ON WEDNESDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL SPREAD RAIN BACK ACROSS OUR REGION
LATE TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. THE RAIN MAY CHANGE TO SNOW AT
TIMES, ESPECIALLY IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND SOUTHERN ILLINOIS.

PRECIPITATION WILL END WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS
EAST INTO THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY. THIS HIGH WILL BRING DRY
CONDITIONS FOR CHRISTMAS DAY.
