...SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION EXPECTED IN THE SNOWBELT OF
NORTHWEST VILAS COUNTY...

.COLD AIR CROSSING THE RELATIVELY WARM WATERS OF LAKE SUPERIOR
WILL RESULT IN PERIODS OF SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS VILAS COUNTY FROM
LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MID-DAY FRIDAY. THE SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE
HEAVY AT TIMES IN THE SNOWBELT OF NORTHWEST VILAS COUNTY...WHERE
SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED. THE SNOW SHOWERS MAY
WORK INTO ADJACENT COUNTIES AT TIMES. THE BLUSTERY NORTHWEST
WINDS WILL PRODUCE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW OVER VILAS AND ONEIDA
COUNTIES.

  TONIGHT. HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT.
  PERIODS OF SNOW SHOWERS...HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL CONTINUE TO
  MID-DAY FRIDAY.

* THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR DURING THE DAY ON
  THURSDAY.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION WILL RANGE FROM 8 TO 12 INCHES IN THE
  SNOWBELT OF NORTHWEST VILAS COUNTY...TO 2 TO 4 INCHES IN THE
  EAGLE RIVER AREA.

* BLUSTERY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL PRODUCE SOME BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING OF THE FLUFFY TYPE OF SNOW.

* IMPACTS...THE SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL LEAD TO DIFFICULT
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 3 AM THURSDAY TO 6 AM CST FRIDAY.

* SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS AND FLURRIES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH
  TONIGHT. PERIODS OF SNOW SHOWERS...MODERATE TO HEAVY AT
  TIMES...WILL DEVELOP THURSDAY AND CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY NIGHT.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION WILL RANGE FROM 3 TO 6 INCHES ACROSS
  NORTHERN ONEIDA COUNTY TO LESS THAN 3 INCHES ELSEWHERE. THE
  HEAVIEST SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR DURING THE DAY ON
  THURSDAY.

* BLUSTERY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL PRODUCE SOME BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING OF THE FLUFFY TYPE OF SNOW.

* IMPACTS...THE SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL LEAD TO DIFFICULT
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS.
