URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Gray ME
1140 AM EST Tue Jan 23 2018

...FREEZING RAIN CONTINUES...

.Precipitation has overspread the entire forecast area. With
temperatures remaining below freezing across much of the area,
the majority of this precipitation is expected to be in the form
of freezing rain, with some sleet occasionally mixed in.
Gradually in the early afternoon warmer air is expected to move
into southern New Hampshire and coastal western Maine. Any
remaining precipitation will change to rain and begin to taper
off. Precipitation is expected to be fairly heavy, which may
mitigate the icing threat some as rain runs off before freezing on
tree limbs and power lines.
