...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM MONDAY TO MIDNIGHT

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. The snow may mix with freezing rain
  or freezing drizzle at times, especially in Menominee county
  south of highway US-2. Plan on difficult travel conditions,
  especially during the evening commute on Monday. Total snow
  accumulations of 6 to 9 inches are expected with lesser snow
  amounts of 3 to 5 inches over southern Menominee county. Ice
  accumulations of around one tenth of an inch are expected over
  southern Menominee county.

* WHERE...Iron, Dickinson and Menominee Counties.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Monday to midnight CST Monday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
  visibility at times. Because the snow will be wet and heavy,
  snow removal will be more difficult. The wet snow and ice will
  make roads very slippery.

  conditions, especially during the evening commute on Monday.
  Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with isolated amounts
  up to 8 inches, and a light glaze of ice accumulation, are
  expected.

* WHERE...Southern Houghton County.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Monday to 1 AM EST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
  visibility at times. Because the snow will be wet and heavy,
  snow removal will be more difficult. The wet snow and ice will

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. The snow may mix with freezing
  drizzle on Monday morning before changing to heavy snow Monday
  afternoon. Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during
  the evening commute on Monday and the morning commute on
  Tuesday. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 10 inches, with
  localized amounts over a foot are expected. Also, the freezing
  drizzle on Monday morning may produce a thin glaze of ice.

* WHERE...Baraga and Marquette Counties.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Monday to 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 30 mph will cause
  patchy blowing and drifting snow. Significant reductions in
  visibility are expected. Because the snow will be wet and heavy,
  snow removal will be more difficult. The wet snow and ice will
  make roads very slippery.

TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Freezing drizzle and light
  snow will increase late Monday afternoon into Monday night
  resulting in difficult travel conditions, including during the
  evening commute on Monday. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4
  inches, with localized amounts up to 6 inches toward Chassell,
  and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch are
  expected.

* WHERE...Keweenaw and Northern Houghton Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Monday to 6 AM EST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will cause
  areas of blowing and drifting snow, mainly near the Lake
  Superior shore. The wet snow and ice will make roads very
  slippery.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
