This hazardous weather outlook is for Apache...Coconino...
Northern Gila...Navajo...and Yavapai Counties in Northern
Arizona.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

The Winter Weather Advisory for the Mogollon Rim and White Mountains
areas has been canceled. Snow showers are forecast to continue
through early evening, but with surface temperatures a few degrees
above freezing expect accumulations to largely be minimal. Be
prepared for sudden drops in visibility or hazardous driving
conditions should snowfall rates become locally intense.

Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches have been observed across
southeastern Yavapai County into northern Gila County. Expect creeks
and streams in this area to run high today in response to the
rainfall, before decreasing later tonight or Monday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

A drying trend returns Monday. Mainstem rivers such as the Verde
River will likely crest well below flood stage by early Tuesday
morning. The chance for light rain and snow showers will return
Wednesday with the next cold front forecast to move through Arizona.
Strong and gusty winds are forecast from Wednesday into Thursday as
well.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather
conditions according to standard operating procedures.
