.DISCUSSION...

High pressure nudges into the region today, while a weak surface
trough sweeps through. High pressure remains in control on
Wednesday as it builds more firmly in place.

Will have increasing wind speeds and gusts at Matianuck State Park
today out of the NW. Should be around 5-10 mph this morning and
increase to 10-15 mph by the afternoon. Winds will gust around
20-25 mph starting around mid morning and continue through the
afternoon. Minimum relative humidities at the Rx site of 20 to 25
percent today.

Dry and quiet weather continues on Wednesday, but with light
winds. Should start out of the NNW and gradually shift to the W
and SW/S as the day progresses. Minimum relative humidities of 30
to 35 percent on Wednesday.

.OUTLOOK... Thursday through Sunday...

A warm front approaches on Thursday bringing isolated to
scattered showers across the the interior. High pressure builds
overhead for much of Friday. Another round of rain showers late
on Friday through Saturday. Drier weather returns on Sunday.
