Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak front will approach the waters tonight then
move through early Friday. Weak high pressure will build from east
Texas through the waters Friday night through Saturday and then
move quickly east Saturday night. The difference between the
departing ridge and deepening trough of low pressure over the lee
of the Sierra Madre will rapidly increase southerly winds by
Sunday, continuing through Sunday night. A cold front is expected
to arrive by Monday night. Small Craft Advisories may be needed
Saturday night through Monday night.
