THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA...
SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...NORTHWEST IOWA...AND NORTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

FIRE DANGER...
BREEZY NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS AROUND 30
MPH...COMBINED WITH AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES OF 20 TO
25 PERCENT...WILL CREATE EXTREME FIRE DANGER TODAY ACROSS
SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA. NO OUTDOOR BURNING SHOULD TAKE PLACE TODAY
IN THIS AREA.

VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER IS EXPECTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
SOUTH DAKOTA AND NORTHWEST IOWA...ALONG AND NORTHEAST OF A HURON
TO SIOUX FALLS TO STORM LAKE LINE. WINDS WILL BE A BIT LIGHTER
HERE...BUT SILL BLUSTERY ENOUGH...THAT WHEN COMBINED WITH THE LOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITY...WILL RESULT IN THE VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER.
OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED IN THIS AREA TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER IS AGAIN EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA ON
FRIDAY...WITH BLUSTERY WESTERLY WINDS AND LOW AFTERNOON RELATIVE
HUMIDITY. OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED ON FRIDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ON FRIDAY NIGHT.
ANY STORMS THAT DO FORM ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE. MORE
THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON...MAINLY ALONG
AND SOUTHEAST OF A SIOUX CITY TO JACKSON LINE. CONFIDENCE IS
LOW...BUT IF THESE STORMS WERE TO FORM...A FEW COULD BE STRONG TO
SEVERE.
