THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST
IOWA...SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...EAST CENTRAL
SOUTH DAKOTA...SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND SOUTHEAST SOUTH
DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

OCCASIONAL NON SEVERE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
NEAR THE MISSOURI VALLEY TODAY...WITH SCATTERED STORMS POSSIBLE ALONG
AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 90. STORMS WILL BEGIN BUILDING NORTHWARD LATE
THIS EVENING THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. A FEW STRONGER STORMS MAY
CONTAIN SMALL HAIL TO DIME SIZE AND WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH.

HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ALSO BE A CONCERN WITH THUNDERSTORM
ACTIVITY...MAINLY THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 90.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE BY THURSDAY
MORNING...WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA...FAR SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA AND MUCH OF NORTHWEST IOWA.

THIS POTENTIALLY HEAVY RAINFALL COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLASH
FLOODING...AND WILL INCREASE THE POTENTIAL FOR RISING STREAM AND
RIVER LEVELS LATER THIS WEEK.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

SCATTERED NON SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THURSDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...MAINLY ACROSS NORTHWEST IOWA AND ADJACENT
COUNTIES. LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING MAY BE POSSIBLE IN NORTHWEST IOWA
AND SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA ON THURSDAY...WHILE RISING RIVERS AND
STREAMS MAY ALSO REMAIN A CONCERN.
