This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Minnesota, central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south
central South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A winter storm watch remains in effect for the outlook area. A
light mix of rain and snow in south central SD on Sunday will
spread east, with moderate snowfall developing areawide on Sunday
evening. Accumulating snow along with 25 to 40 mph winds will
continue into Monday, before ending Monday afternoon and evening.
Snowfall amounts are expected to average 3 to 7 inches. Expect
greatly reduced visibilities in blowing snow, especially in open
areas. Travel could become very difficult.

southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, east central South
Dakota, south central South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A winter storm warning is in effect for the outlook area. A light
mix of rain and snow in south central SD on Sunday will spread
east, with moderate to heavy snowfall developing areawide on
Sunday evening. Accumulating snow along with 25 to 40 mph winds
will continue into Monday, before ending Monday afternoon and
evening. Snowfall amounts are expected to average 7 to 14 inches
with locally higher amounts possible. Expect greatly reduced
visibilities in blowing snow, especially in open areas. Travel
could become very difficult to impossible.

Light snow is expected to begin late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A light mix of rain and snow is possible Sunday morning. By
afternoon, light to moderate snowfall is expected, along with
with 25 to 40 mph winds. Snow and blowing snow will continue
through Monday morning. Snowfall amounts are expected to average
2 to 4 inches. Expect reduced visibilities in blowing snow.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A winter storm watch remains in effect for the outlook area.
Spotty drizzle will be possible Sunday afternoon, followed by a
rain, snow, and freezing rain mix in the evening. Mixed
precipitation will gradually change over to snow late Sunday
night or Monday morning. Strong winds will accompany the snowfall,
causing reduced visibilities during blowing snow. Snow will end by
Monday evening. Snowfall amounts are expected to average 3 to 8
inches. Ice accumulations of around one tenth will be possible.
Travel could become very difficult to impossible.
