A WEAK FRONT WILL SLOWLY MOVE ACROSS THE EASTERN PLAINS TODAY.
EXCEPT FOR SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS EARLY THIS MORNING EAST OF
INTERSTATE 29...IT IS EXPECTED TO BE DRY TODAY. INSTEAD HUMID
CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE FRONT TODAY.
BEHIND THE FRONT...WINDS WILL BECOME NORTHERLY AND INCREASE TO 10
TO 20 MPH WITH A FEW HIGHER GUSTS. IT WILL ALSO BE LESS HUMID
BEHIND THE FRONT WITH THE MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY FROM 25 TO 35
PERCENT THIS AFTERNOON WEST OF THE JAMES RIVER. HIGHS TODAY WILL
BE IN THE 80S TO LOWER 90S. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
LATE TONIGHT IN SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA. THESE STORMS WILL MOVE
ACROSS THE MISSOURI VALLEY ON SATURDAY MORNING. WHILE THE BEST
CHANCE FOR RAIN WILL BE SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 90...A FEW STORMS MAY
FORM NORTH OF I90 DURING THE DAY. A STRONG FRONT WILL ALSO BE
MOVING INTO THE JAMES VALLEY BY SATURDAY AFTERNOON. BEHIND THE
FRONT...DRIER AIR CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THE AFTERNOON RELATIVE
HUMIDITY AROUND 30 PERCENT. IT WILL AGAIN BE WARM WITH HIGHS IN
THE 80S.

COOLER AND DRIER AIR IS EXPECTED FROM SUNDAY THROUGH THE MIDDLE
OF NEXT WEEK. STRONG WINDS WITH GUSTS OVER 30 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED
ON SUNDAY. BUT LIGHTER WINDS WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S TO LOWER
80S ARE FORECAST EARLY NEXT WEEK. NO SIGNIFICANT PRECIPITATION
IS ANTICIPATED FROM SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
