A COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH ALL BUT EASTERN IOWA BY THURSDAY
MORNING...SWITCHING WINDS AROUND TO THE NORTHWEST...AND BRINGING
COOLER BUT STILL MILD TEMPERATURES. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL ACCOMPANY THE COLD FRONT THIS EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT...BUT SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED. MOST OF THE
PRECIPITATION SHOULD OCCUR IN SOUTH DAKOTA...SOUTHEAST NORTH
DAKOTA...MINNESOTA...AND NORTHWEST IOWA BEFORE 2 AM...AND THEN
FURTHER SOUTHEAST THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. THE REST OF THURSDAY
LOOKS TO BE ANOTHER MILD AND MAINLY DRY DAY...WITH DANGEROUS FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS AGAIN IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF MINNESOTA.
AFTER THE DAYTIME HEATING ON THURSDAY...THERE WILL BE ANOTHER CHANCE
OF SCATTERED SHOWERS IN NEBRASKA...THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN PARTS OF
SOUTH DAKOTA...THE SOUTHERN HALF OF MINNESOTA...AND THE WESTERN
THIRD OF IOWA THROUGH EARLY MORNING FRIDAY.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE 30S AND LOW 40S AT MOST
LOCATIONS IN THE NORTHERN PLAINS...BUT IOWA AND EASTERN NEBRASKA
SHOULD HOLD IN THE MID 40S TO LOW 50S. HIGHS ON THURSDAY ARE
FORECAST TO WARM INTO THE MID 50S TO LOW 60S ACROSS THE DAKOTAS AND
MINNESOTA...WHILE NEBRASKA AND IOWA CLIMB INTO THE MID AND UPPER 60S.
LOOKING AHEAD TO THE END OF THE WORK WEEK...FRIDAY BRINGS MORE MILD
TEMPERATURES...WITH HIGHS GENERALLY RANGING FROM 50S NEAR AND NORTH
OF INTERSTATE 94...TO MID 70S IN THE SOUTHWEST AND PANHANDLE
SECTIONS OR NEBRASKA.
