TONIGHT WILL BE PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY...WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS IN NORTH DAKOTA AND THE NORTHERN HALF OF MINNESOTA.
THERE COULD ALSO BE A FEW STORMS IN THE EASTERN THIRD OF SOUTH
DAKOTA AND THE SOUTHERN HALF OF MINNESOTA...BUT CHANCES ARE RATHER
LOW. OTHERWISE...IT WILL REMAIN BREEZY...WITH LOW TEMPERATURES ONLY
COOLING INTO THE MID 50S TO MID 60S ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS.

FRIDAY LOOKS TO BE A VERY WARM DAY IN THE SOUTHERN AND EASTERN PARTS
OF THE REGION AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT. BEHIND THE BOUNDARY...IT WILL
BE COOLER AND WET. HIGH TEMPERATURES SHOULD VARY FROM MOSTLY 70S IN
MINNESOTA...TO MID AND UPPER 80S IN NEBRASKA. SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG AND BEHIND THE COLD
FRONT FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND OVERNIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING ACROSS
SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA...EASTERN NEBRASKA...IOWA...AND SOUTHERN
MINNESOTA. NOT ALL LOCATIONS WILL RECEIVE RAIN...BUT MOST LOCATIONS
THAT DO SHOULD ONLY GET A QUARTER TO A HALF INCH.

THE REST OF THE WEEKEND APPEARS TO BE DRY AND MILD...WITH HIGHS IN
THE 70S TO LOW 80S. THE NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN COMES INTO THE FORECAST
TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY...AS HIGH TEMPERATURES SETTLE CLOSER TO
THE UPPER 60S TO MID 70S RANGE.
