REGIONAL WEATHER SYNOPSIS FOR THE NORTH CENTRAL UNITED STATES
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SIOUX FALLS SD

SUNDAY HAS BEEN ANOTHER WARM DAY IN SOUTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND
ADJACENT AREAS OF NEBRASKA...IOWA...AND MINNESOTA.  HOWEVER...MUCH
COOLER AIR WAS SLOWLY FILTERING INTO THE REGION SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
THE COLD FRONT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS COLDER AIRMASS WILL SETTLE
SOUTHWARD OVERNIGHT...STALLING NEAR THE INTERSTATE 90 CORRIDOR BY
MONDAY MORNING.  A FEW SHOWERS MAY MOVE THROUGH THE AREA OVERNIGHT
AND INTO MONDAY MORNING.  TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL REMAIN IN THE
50S.

A WIDE ARRAY OF TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED ON MONDAY...WITH
READINGS IN THE 50S AND 60S NORTH OF THE FRONT...AND READINGS IN THE
80S TO THE SOUTH.  THE WARMEST TEMPERATURES WILL BE FOUND ALONG AND
SOUTH OF THE MISSOURI RIVER.

RAIN CHANCES WILL INCREASE BY TUESDAY AS A STRONGER COLD FRONT
SWEEPS THROUGH THE REGION. A FEW STRONGER STORMS MAY BE POSSIBLE IN
THE TRI STATE AREA...BUT WIDESPREAD SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT
ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.
