TEMPERATURES AND HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE THROUGH
MONDAY...WITH A COLD FRONT BRINGING SOME RELIEF FROM THE HEAT BY
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL INCREASE INTO THE UPPER 80S
THROUGH THE 90S...WITH READINGS AS HIGH AS 105 DEGREES IN SOUTH
CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA TODAY. VERY HUMID CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY
ALONG AND EAST OF INTERSTATE 29...WILL LEAD TO WIDESPREAD TRIPLE
DIGIT HEAT INDEX VALUES DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING
HOURS...AND HEAT ADVISORIES HAVE BEEN POSTED THROUGHOUT THE REGION.

HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL ALLOW FOR THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT LATER
TODAY AND INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.  AT THIS TIME...THE HIGHEST RAIN
CHANCES WILL BE FOCUSED ACROSS FAR NORTHERN AND NORTHEASTERN SOUTH
DAKOTA...AS WELL AS NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA.  A COLD FRONT WILL
SWEEP THROUGH THE AREA BY TUESDAY MORNING.  HIGHS ON TUESDAY WILL BE
SLIGHTLY COOLER IN THE 80S AND LOWER 90S.
