REGIONAL WEATHER SYNOPSIS FOR THE NORTH CENTRAL UNITED STATES
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SIOUX FALLS SD
400 AM CDT WED SEP 10 2014

A STRONG COLD FRONT PUSHED THROUGH THE AREA THIS MORNING. BEHIND THE
FRONT...NORTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE THROUGH THE DAY AND A FEW
SHOWERS WILL LINGER DURING THE MORNING HOURS. TEMPERATURES WILL FALL
INTO THE 50S THIS MORNING AND ARE NOT EXPECTED TO REBOUND THIS
AFTERNOON.  IN FACT...HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL AVERAGE NEARLY 20
DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.

WITH CLOUDY SKIES PREVAILING...LOWS TONIGHT WILL FALL A COUPLE
DEGREES EITHER SIDE OF 40 DEGREES. LITTLE CHANGE IN THE WEATHER IS
EXPECTED AS WE FINISH OUT THE WORK WEEK.  TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN
WELL BELOW NORMAL WITH DAILY HIGHS IN THE 50S AND LOW TEMPERATURES
IN THE 30S.  A FEW LIGHT SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT
INTO FRIDAY.  THE COLDEST OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL ARRIVE BY SATURDAY
MORNING...AS TEMPERATURE BOTTOM OUT IN THE LOW TO MIDDLE 30S.  THESE
COLD TEMPERATURE WILL BRING A RISK OF FROST TO THE REGION SATURDAY
MORNING.
