REGIONAL WEATHER SYNOPSIS FOR THE NORTH CENTRAL UNITED STATES
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SIOUX FALLS SD

A VERY PLEASANT SPRING DAY IS IN STORE FOR THE AREA WITH ABUNDANT
SUNSHINE AND LIGHTER WINDS. TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB INTO THE 60S
ACROSS NORTHERN SOUTH DAKOTA INTO CENTRAL MINNESOTA WHILE THE REST
OF SOUTH DAKOTA AND MOST OF NEBRASKA WILL REACH THE MID 70S. LOW
PRESSURE WILL DEVELOP OVER THE WESTERN HIGH PLAINS TONIGHT BRINGING
AND INCREASED SOUTHERLY WIND AND A THREAT FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. AT THIS TIME THE BETTER CHANCES WILL EAST OF THE
JAMES RIVER VALLEY AND ESPECIALLY OVER PARTS OF MINNESOTA. SEVERE
WEATHER IS NOT ANTICIPATED WITH ANY OF THE THUNDERSTORMS THAT CAN
DEVELOP. WITH THE STRONG SOUTHERLY WIND AND SOME CLOUD COVER LOWS
WILL BE MILD...RANGING FROM NEAR 40 OVER THE WESTERN HIGH PLAINS TO
THE LOWER 50S IN NORTHWEST IOWA.
