REGIONAL WEATHER SYNOPSIS FOR THE NORTH CENTRAL UNITED STATES

A FEW STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS EVENING MAINLY SOUTH OF THE TRI
STATE AREA. OTHERWISE...SKIES WILL BECOME MOSTLY CLEAR AND THE WINDS
WILL BECOME LIGHT ACROSS OF THE AREA THIS EVENING MAKING FOR A
DELIGHTFUL EVENING.  THE MAIN WEATHER STORY WILL BE THE INCOMING
COOL WEATHER FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY.  EVEN THOUGH THE CALENDAR SYA
OTS JULY...IT MAY FEEL MORE LIKE OCTOBER EARLY THIS WEEK.  A PUSH OF
COLD CANADIAN AIR IS MAKING IT TREK OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS AND IS
EXPECTED TO PUSH INTO THE TRI STATE AREA LATER TONIGHT...AND WILL BE
INFLUENCING THE WEATHER OVER THE NEXT 48 HOURS.  THE MAIN BRUNDT OF
COLD AIR...ALONG WITH A GOOD CHANCE FOR SHOWERS...WILL BE FELT
NORTHEAST OF THE AREA. PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA MAY SEE A FEW
SHOWERS ON MONDAY WHILE OTHER AREAS WILL REMAIN DRY...BUT COOL.

OVERNIGHT LOWS TONIGHT WILL BE IN THE 50S...WHILE HIGHS ON MONDAY
WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 60S TO THE LOWER 70S WITH THE COOLEST
READINGS IN SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA.  HIGHS ON TUESDAY WILL REMAIN WELL
BELOW NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR.
