REGIONAL WEATHER SYNOPSIS FOR THE NORTH CENTRAL UNITED STATES

LIGHT RAIN WILL GRADUALLY EXIT THE REGION THIS MORNING...LEAVING
CLOUDY SKIES IN PLACE FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE DAY.  BY THIS
AFTERNOON...A FEW WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS MAY REDEVELOP IN THE TRI
STATE AREA BUT WIDESPREAD RAINS ARE NOT EXPECTED. HIGH TEMPERATURES
TODAY WILL CONTINUE TO AVERAGE NEARLY 20 DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL...TOPPING OUT IN THE MIDDLE 50S.

A CHILLY NIGHT IS ANTICIPATED AS CLOUDS BEGIN TO CLEAR FROM WEST TO
EAST.  OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BOTTOM OUT IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 30S.
PATCHY FROST IS POSSIBLE BY SATURDAY MORNING ESPECIALLY IN AREAS
ALONG AND EAST OF INTERSTATE 29.  THOSE WITH TENDER VEGETATION
SHOULD TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID ANY UNWANTED DAMAGE.

THE UPCOMING WEEKEND WILL FEATURE SLOWLY IMPROVING CONDITIONS...WITH
AMPLE SUNSHINE AND SLIGHTLY WARMER TEMPERATURES. HIGHS ON SATURDAY
WILL CLIMB BETWEEN 60 AND 65 DEGREES...WITH TEMPERATURES ON SUNDAY
BETWEEN 65 AND 70 DEGREES. THE NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN WILL ARRIVE
SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY.
