AFTER A COOL STRETCH OF WEATHER OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS...SUMMER
WILL RETURN AS WE BEGIN TO APPROACH WHAT IS ANNUALLY THE WARMEST
TIME OF THE YEAR.  TEMPERATURES TODAY...WITH PARTLY SUNNY
SKIES...WILL CLIMB INTO THE UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S. WINDS THIS
AFTERNOON WILL TURN TO THE SOUTHWEST...BETWEEN 5 AND 15 MPH.
TEMPERATURES WILL FALL INTO THE 50S LATER ON TONIGHT AS SKIES CLEAR.

WITH TEMPERATURES CLIMBING INTO THE 80S AND EVEN 90S ACROSS PORTIONS
OF THE PLAINS THIS WEEKEND...RAIN CHANCES WILL CONTINUE TO REMAIN
MINIMAL.  THE WARMEST TEMPERATURES IN THE FORECAST ARRIVE EARLY NEXT
WEEK.  90 DEGREE READINGS SPREAD EASTWARD BY MONDAY...WITH TRIPLE
DIGIT HEAT POSSIBLE IN PORTIONS OF CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA.
