SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED THIS MORNING
OVER MUCH OF THE AREA...BUT MUCH OF THIS ACTIVITY IS LIKELY TO
WEAKEN AND DISSIPATE BY MID TO LATE MORNING. AFTER THE STORMS
DISSIPATE SOME SUNSHINE SHOULD ALLOW THE ATMOSPHERE ENOUGH TIME TO
BECOME FAVORABLE FOR THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT AGAIN LATE THIS
AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING. STORMS ARE LIKELY TO DEVELOP IN CENTRAL
AND NORTHERN PARTS OF SOUTH DAKOTA...THEN ROLL SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE
EVENING. SOME OF THESE STORMS ARE LIKELY TO BECOME SEVERE AS WELL AS
BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL. HIGHS TODAY WILL MAINLY BE
IN THE 80S WITH LOWS TONIGHT IN THE 60S.
