A SLOW WARMING TREND WILL CONTINUE OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS THROUGH
THIS COMING WEEKEND...AND INTO THE START OF NEXT WEEK. HIGH
TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S AND 80S WILL GIVE WAY TO 90 DEGREE HEAT
ADVANCING FURTHER EAST INTO THE REGION EACH DAY. BY MONDAY...ONLY
THE EASTERN PARTS OF MINNESOTA AND IOWA ARE EXPECTED TO HOLD IN THE
80S.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE WESTERN AND NORTHERN PARTS
OF THE REGION BUT THEY WILL BE SPOTTY. NOT EVEN SPOTTY STORMS ARE
EXPECTED IN IOWA...SOUTHERN MINNESOTA...AND SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA
THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
