THE ATMOSPHERE WILL SLOWLY TURN UP THE HEAT GOING THROUGH THE
WEEKEND AND INTO THE START OF NEXT WEEK. AS TEMPERATURES WARM...
HUMIDITY LEVELS ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO INCREASE. IF NOT FOR BRISK
SOUTHERLY WINDS AND A FEW MORE CLOUDS AT TIMES...IT WILL BE QUITE
UNCOMFORTABLE...ESPECIALLY EAST OF THE JAMES VALLEY BY SUNDAY AND
MONDAY.

PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE QUITE SPARSE ACROSS THE REGION...WITH
A FEW THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT FROM WESTERN TO NORTHERN SOUTH DAKOTA...
AND A FEW MORE BY LATE DAY OR EARLY EVENING FOR CENTRAL AND EASTERN
SOUTH DAKOTA AND NEBRASKA...INTO SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL MINNESOTA.
MOST LOCATIONS WILL REMAIN DRY.

LOWS TONIGHT WILL BE IN THE UPPER 50S TO MID 60S. 90 DEGREE HEAT
ACROSS THE WESTERN PLAINS TODAY WILL ADVANCE FURTHER EAST INTO THE
REGION EACH DAY. BY MONDAY...ONLY THE EASTERN PARTS OF MINNESOTA AND
IOWA ARE EXPECTED TO HOLD IN THE 80S...AND A FEW READINGS ABOVE THE
CENTURY MARK WILL POP UP FROM CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA THROUGH WESTERN
NEBRASKA.
