LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE ACROSS IOWA AND MISSOURI TODAY...GIVING
RAINFALL TO THE EASTERN PLAINS. THERE WILL ALSO BE A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS EMBEDDED IN THE RAINFALL...WHICH WILL SLOWLY MOVE FROM
WEST TO EAST. BY MID TO LATE AFTERNOON...MOST OF THE RAINFALL
CHANCES WILL BE CONFINED TO AREAS APPROACHING THE MISSISSIPPI
VALLEY. TO THE WEST...ANOTHER VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER DAY IS IN
STORE...WITH GREATLY ELEVATED FIRE DANGER IN CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
SOUTH DAKOTA...EXTENDING EASTWARD INTO EXTREME SOUTHEAST SOUTH
DAKOTA. FOR TONIGHT...SCATTERED SHOWERS MAY LINGER IN CENTRAL AND
NORTHERN MINNESOTA...WITH THE REST OF THE AREA DRY. FRIDAY LOOKS
LIKE A DRY AND PLEASANT DAY WITH LESS WIND.

HIGHS TODAY WILL VARY FROM AROUND 50 IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA...TO
AROUND 70 IN CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA. LOWS TONIGHT WILL BE A FEW
DEGREES EITHER SIDE OF 40. HIGHS ON FRIDAY WILL BE IN THE 60S AND
70S.
