Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
1103 AM CDT Tue Apr 23 2024

Partly cloudy skies prevailed across the forecast area during the
late morning. Some breezy westerly winds lingered through the
morning, with some gusts to 20 mph reported in central Wisconsin.
11 AM temperatures ranged from the low to mid 50s across the
north to the low 60s in portions of central Wisconsin and the Fox
Valley.

Cloud cover will continue to build in from the northwest through
the afternoon ahead of a cold front that will sweep south across
the forecast area. Chances for showers and thunderstorms will
accompany frontal passage, starting across the north during the
mid-afternoon before spreading south into the late afternoon and
evening. Winds gusting from 30 to 35 mph as well as small hail
will be possible with some stronger storms. High temperatures are
expected to range from the mid 50s across north-central Wisconsin
to near 70 in the Fox Valley.

Temperatures are expected to drop off quickly this evening as
showers and storms continue to move south across the forecast
area, leaving clearing skies in their wake. Low temperatures behind
the cold front for tonight are forecast to be slightly cooler
than yesterday, ranging from the low 20s in north-central
Wisconsin to the low 30s from the Fox Valley to the lakeshore.
