...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN JACKSON COUNTY...

At 502 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Stevenson, or
13 miles northeast of Scottsboro, moving east-southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Bridgeport, Stevenson, Hollywood, Skyline, Pisgah, Bass, Martintown,
Rosalie, Fabius, and Fackler.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for north central
and northeastern Alabama...and Middle Tennessee.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
