...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SUMNER COUNTY THROUGH 115 AM
CDT...

At 1235 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Norwich to Argonia to 7 miles east of
Manchester. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wellington, Mulvane, Belle Plaine, Conway Springs, Caldwell, Oxford,
Argonia, South Haven, Geuda Springs, Mayfield, Milan, Hunnewell,
Perth, Riverdale, and Wellington Airport.

This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 1 and 33.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
south central Kansas.
