...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a
Flood Warning for the following creek and location in Indiana...

  Sugar Creek at New Palestine.

.Excessive rainfall over a multi-day period has brought flooding to
many waterways in Indiana, including Sugar Creek at New Palestine.
This flooding is expected to be brief and minor, ending by late day
Saturday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TOMORROW EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sugar Creek at New Palestine.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Lowland flooding in progress along Sugar
  Creek in New Palestine area.  Some local roads may be affected by
  high water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 PM EDT Friday the stage was 7.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    just after midnight tonight to a crest of 8.5 feet late
    tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
