* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 826 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fenton,
  moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lake Charles, Eunice, Jennings, Welsh, Iowa, Lake Arthur, Kinder,
  Basile, Oberlin, Iota, Gueydan, Elton, Mermentau, Fenton, Reeves,
  Hayes, Moss Bluff, Evangeline, Morse, and Wright.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for central and
southwestern Louisiana.
