...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 AM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN CALCASIEU PARISH...SOUTH CENTRAL NEWTON AND
NORTHEASTERN ORANGE COUNTIES...

At 435 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hartburg, or
near Deweyville, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Vinton, Starks, Deweyville, Hartburg, Forest Heights, and Edgerly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
