Warm and dry conditions will continue through the afternoon hours with a high temperature of 80 degrees and south winds of 5 to 10 mph. A line of gusty showers and thunderstorms will sweep into northwestern Indiana between 8 and 10 PM central time. Note that the gusty winds may arrive before precipitation starts with a 10 to 15 degree temperature drop. Tonight, a cold front will move across the area causing winds to turn northerly. A few rain showers may occur from time to time through daybreak Sunday. Sunday will be noticeably cooler than today with a high temperature near 55 degrees and north winds of 10 to 15 mph.
